Sometimes, there are evenings where I really struggle with what to write about. I have a variety of topics I know I want to discuss and address on this blog, but they are the kind of topics I want to take time to write on. And so I don't think they are a good fit for tonight as I'm settling into bed with my laptop.
A few posts ago, I mentioned wanting to be more accountable. When I titled this blog Kass Daily, I meant it. Not Kass every few Days. Not Kass Weekly. Kass. Daily.
So I figure on evenings like these I will have some more light hearted posts. Where it's less a matter of deciding a topic, and more just telling you guys whats on my mind, or what I go up to that day.
Tonight, there isn't to much on my mind. But I did have a good day! A friend took my shift at work, allowing me to sleep in and get the rest I felt I needed. After rolling out of bed at my own pace, I was able to get some house cleaning done. Nothing crazy; just the basics, dishes, tidying the living room ect... Part of the reason I was trying to get some extra cleaning done, was because I had a friend coming over to get make-up done for a photo shoot. I spent about an hour or so with her, before catching a ride to the dance studio I work at to check in on the new girl we have starting at the desk.
Overall a pretty standard and low key day. I grabbed some groceries after, finished cleaning my kitchen, and had me best friend over for an easy dinner of stir fry while we landed on my couch for a night of YouTube, Tumblr and giggles.
While it may not sound like a fun, or exciting day, it was a good day. I have been feeling a little bit off kilter these past few days, and to have today to sort of reset and be productive at my own pace, on my own time? Invaluable.
